MCB ARC Chute Assembly

MCB ARC Chute Assembly is utilized in circuit breakers for redirecting the arc that forms during the disturbance of an electrical circuit. Whenever a circuit is interrupted, the electrical power that was passing by means of it creates a plasma arc which damages the insulation and contacts of the circuit breaker if left unchecked. This type of assembly is designed for safely guiding this arc away from the circuit as well as towards a designated arc extinguishing device. MCB ARC Chute Assembly is made of metallic plates, arranged in a way that creates a chain of narrow channels for the arc to travel through.
